Leila Steer- Sports Rehabilitator
Throughout her university studies, Leila gained experience across a variety of sporting and clinical environments, working with organisations including England Ice Hockey, Widnes Wild Ice Hockey and Huddersfield Giants RLFC. These opportunities allowed her to develop her skills in injury assessment, rehabilitation and hands-on therapy while working alongside athletes of all levels.
One of Leila’s standout achievements was securing a summer placement with Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Rays in the United States. Working with their development squad gave her invaluable experience in a high-performance sporting environment.
Following graduation, Leila joined the team at Kinetic Clinics to continue developing her clinical expertise while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients. Alongside her role at the clinic, she is also the Lead Sport Rehabilitator at Hallam FC.
Leila enjoys the variety that Sport Rehabilitation brings, with no two days ever being the same. She has a particular interest in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and enjoys working with everyone from elite athletes aiming to return to competition to individuals simply wanting to move more comfortably and improve their quality of life. She believes every patient presents a unique challenge and finds it incredibly rewarding to help people achieve their goals.
As she continues to develop her career, Leila is committed to expanding her knowledge across a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation techniques. Her passion for learning, combined with her approachable nature and evidence-based approach, ensures she is continually striving to provide the highest standard of care for every patient she treats.
