Gain Back Your Confidence- Treating Scars the Kinetic Way…

Jul 12, 2024

Every scar tells its own story and each scar is as individual as you are.

Some scars will happily remind us of those silly incidents we make as a kid when you maybe fell from a climbing frame or in my case trapped my fingers in a door hinge…OUCH!

But some scars no matter how beautiful the journey can be unsightly and cause ourselves anxiety and emotional distress.

The facts – Adhesions form at the sight of an injury, the body will lay down collagen fibres to repair the damaged tissue which sometimes can be different in texture. They may be fatty or bony and some can pucker at the joins.

A C-Section scar is a prime example of this. Due to the depth of the sutures and the location; these are ideal factors of creating scar tissue formation. If the scar is allowed to form this can cause long term issues such as lower back pain and limited range of movement in the pelvis.

18 months post partum before and after 3 treatments!

Do you have a scar which hasn’t healed as well as you wanted? Has it caused tightness, redness or itching around the area? Or have you been struggling with lower back pain since having a c- section but wasn’t sure why?

We can help PREVENT and TREAT scarring!

And correct the issues linked with scar formation.

The use of Winback TECAR therapy works to prevent scar formation during the early stages at a cellular level, improving the quality of the collagen. At the same time Tecar has a diathermic reaction which will improve vascularization of the area and helps to break down junctions laying down new collagen fibres.
