What is Clinical Pilates?
Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility.
It was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, after whom it was named.
If you’ve wanted to try Pilates classes but something has been holding you back, now’s your time to sign up for your first one. 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 Pilates Sessions
If you have never tried pilates before then you may need the reassurance that you are achieving the movements correctly. 1-2-1 pilates sessions are the best way for you to be introduced in a safe environment. To keep all participants safely distanced we only conduct in-house pilates sessions in either a 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 group setting. These can be a great way to prepare you for the online pilates programme or to add on as an additional exercise provision.
As both our instructors are highly qualified, this is a great way for you to address any instability or pain issues both safely and effectively.
