In addition to his Counselling and Psychotherapy practice, Tony offers coaching to individuals and businesses and provides supervision to other counsellors, coaches and others in the helping professions as part of their continuing professional development.
He has worked as a lecturer in Further Education Colleges, teaching various Counselling courses and teaching staff members on the subject of Community Mental Health, in a South Yorkshire NHS Psychiatric Hospital setting.
Prior to private practice Tony worked for the NHS Sheffield Primary Care Trust in a GP Medical Practice offering brief Counselling, and for South West Yorkshire NHS Mental Health Trust, providing longer term ‘secondary care’ therapy in a psychiatric hospital setting.
He now provides coaching and mentoring to businesses and self employed individuals or teams in their own personal development, improving their business growth.
A bespoke consulting service can also be undertaken to facilitate organisational growth and development of counselling services within organisations or as stand alone practices.
Tony is an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and has accredited register membership. In 2013 the BACP Register was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status with the Professional Standards Authority. All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

He works in an Integrative Counselling approach, which has the basic assumptions that we are naturally social beings with the ability and wish to relate externally to others and internally to ourselves.
